Pente Networks Joins OnGo Alliance Furthering Commitment to Bring Organizations CBRS Services
NEW YORK, NEW YORK; TEL AVIV, ISRAEL; March 9, 2022 –Pente Networks™, developer of IT friendly private enterprise LTE/5G solutions, today announced it has become a member of the OnGo™ Alliance, an industry organization dedicated to supporting the adoption of LTE solutions for the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS).
With deep knowledge of telecom and enterprise solutions, and experience in building networks & business applications for dozens of enterprises and mobile operators, Pente (formerly JpU) has a growing partner ecosystem with leading system integrators, service providers, and equipment manufacturers focused on delivering end-to-end, wireless communications solutions to enterprises, and joining OnGo’s alliance is an ideal next step as Pente continues to grow its footprint in the United States.
OnGo continues to pave the way to providing organizations with access to uncompromised connectivity, at a fraction of the cost that has historically been associated with LTE, and deployment that mirrors the simplicity we’ve all come to appreciate with Wi-Fi. Networks based in the CBRS band have nearly limitless options for enhanced customizability, effectively allowing users to tailor their network to a specific set of needs, such as IIoT or security.
To make this vision a reality, the over 190 member companies that make up OnGo Alliance, including founding companies Google, Qualcomm, Ruckus Networks, Intel, Federated Wireless, and Nokia as well as the nation’s largest mobile carriers, and now Pente Networks, actively collaborated to evangelize LTE-based OnGo technology, use cases, and business opportunities.
To do this, the OnGo Alliance has developed a set of detailed specifications and an accompanying OnGo certification program. The certification program and specifications will enable the commercialization of the OnGo architecture and ensure seamless interoperability for all network components. The certification program ensures all OnGo-Certified Devices reflect the performance and interoperability standards that have been set.
Pente’s IT-friendly solutions feature guaranteed latency and quality of experience, optimizing public and private clouds to deliver fully secure and economically efficient services designed to support enterprise digital transformation.
“With several of our largest customers located in North America, and with the acceleration of the availability of CBRS and other mid-band unlicensed spectrum, we have proven the value of our Hypercore technology and partner ecosystem relationships,” said Roy Timor Rousso, CRO, Pente Networks. “We deeply understand the importance of standards, the power of “open,” and the value of the OnGo network and look forward to playing an active role with the OnGo community going forward.”
“With the increased activity around the demand for private networks, it is clear that OnGo 4G and 5G solutions in the CBRS band appeal to a large and diverse set of users” said Alan Ewing,
Executive Director, OnGo Alliance. “Pente Networks mission to support enterprise digital
transformation is a welcome addition to the OnGo Alliance ecosystem.”

5G Networking Speeds Meet High Throughput Computing With Persistent Survivability
Among the cutting-edge devices and applications available today, IoT edge technology has stood out from the rest as the most prominent piece of business technology, becoming very common among all industries relatively quickly since the beginning of the digital transformation trend.
When 5G Speaks IT, Private Wireless Networking Is Accessible to Every Organization
The MWC Las Vegas convention is an interesting marker in the shift occurring with wireless and mobility vendors away from a carrier-centric model to one focused on the enterprise. And while all the chatter is about digital transformation and industry 4.0, there is very little focus on the “IT” in enterprise IT.
